Full Swing Golf simulators and Fairway Golf once again proved to be the star attraction at the Open Championship Dinner 2007 held at ITC Maurya, New Delhi. The evening of golf saw the guests try their skill on the miniature putting greens and enjoy live telecast of The Open on giant screens.
The Open Championship 2007, held at Carnoustie, saw Padraig Harrington clinching the title in nail-biting fashion in a four-hole play-off with Sergio Garcia of Spain. Harrington became the first Irish winner of The Open Championship since Fred Daly in 1947.
Fairway Golf - the official SAARC region distributor for Full Swing Golf simulators, the undisputed leader in golf simulation, set up a latest specification system running 50 courses, which was used to run a Closest to Pin challenge on the 4th hole at Banff Springs. The Full Swing Golf simulator was packed with golfers and non-golfers alike, keen to take part in the contest and win themselves golf equipment from Titleist.
The evening was sponsored by Airtel, HSBC Premier, Chivas Regal and Take Solutions and the event was managed by RN Golf Management.
